Best playgrounds on the Eastside

When the kids need to run, I look for a playground we can reach without turning the afternoon into a drive. These are real Eastside parks, and the photo is the play area. I left a park off the list when I could not pair it with a photo of the structure itself.

Grass Lawn Park

The play structure here is the one I pick when the kids want different things at once. There is room to climb, swings, and a splash pad in the warm months. Courts and fields sit on the same park, so an older kid can peel off while a little one stays on the structure.

Willows Creek Park

A small neighborhood park, easy to park and easy to leave. A paved path runs from the lot to the play structure, with grass around it and a half court beside the path. I use it when a big park would be more afternoon than we have.
