Ken Ludwig’s mystery-comedy, directed by Rael Esteves. Broadway star William Gillette, famous for playing Sherlock Holmes, hosts a weekend that turns into a murder hunt after a guest is stabbed. A killing is part of the plot. Treat it as a mystery for older kids and adults.

Whipped Butter Soap Workshop

Lonnie Craft & Co. leads a baking-inspired workshop. You leave with whipped butter soap that looks like frosting, and you are asked to bring your own mug, cup, or small bowl to use as the container. For adults.

Free and family-friendly. The Farm Market patio has artisan and farmer vendors, live music, food, apple pressing, and pumpkins, including a guess-the-weight for the giant ones. 21 Acres and the Sammamish Valley Grange are the hosts. A guided tour of the Grange Heritage Garden is part of the day. Parking on site is limited. Carpool, bike, take the bus, or park in the neighborhood and walk.

Hollywood Schoolhouse at Maryhill Winery

A free talk from the Woodinville Heritage Society on the Stimson family and Hollywood Farm, the agricultural estate Frederick Stimson built in the Sammamish Valley. It is a history program, not a wine tasting.
