Help Eastside families find your farm, camp, class, or venue, with a clearly labeled spot on a calendar parents already trust.

Eastside Family Calendar is where local parents check what to do with their kids this weekend. It covers 15 cities, from Bothell and Kirkland to Snoqualmie and Maple Valley, plus the no-school days for ten school districts. It's free, it's made by a local family, and it has no ad networks.

A few local businesses help keep it that way. If you run a place that Eastside kids love, we'd be glad to help more families find you.

Who you'll reach

  • Parents of toddlers through teens in Bellevue, Bothell, Carnation, Duvall, Issaquah, Kenmore, Kirkland, Maple Valley, Mercer Island, North Bend, Redmond, Renton, Sammamish, Snoqualmie, and Woodinville.
  • Families planning the weekend, the next no-school day, the holidays, or the summer.
  • More than 400 upcoming family events on the calendar right now, updated every day.

What sponsors get

  • A card that looks like the rest of the calendar, with a real photo, a short blurb, and a link straight to your site.
  • A clear "Sponsored" label, so parents know exactly what they're looking at and keep trusting it.
  • A link tagged with our name, so your own site stats show the visits that came from us.
  • A real person to work with. Mads, a Kirkland dad of three, reads and answers every email.

What a sponsored card looks like

Our standards

  • Every paid spot says "Sponsored." Always.
  • Family only: camps, classes, farms, museums, venues, and kids' activities we'd happily take our own three kids to.
  • We say no when something isn't a fit, and we don't take alcohol, cannabis, vaping, gambling, or anything meant for adults only.
  • Free events stay free. Nobody pays to have an event listed, and sponsoring doesn't change what we list or what we write about anyone.
  • No ad networks, and we never collect kids' data.
  • Sponsored spots are few, so the calendar stays a calendar.
