Meeting other parents

The community center toddler mornings are the easiest place to meet other families with little ones. They're cheap, the same faces come back every week, and the grown-ups stay. Si View's Indoor Playground in North Bend is set up for exactly that, and Si View also runs a Tuesday play hour for grandparents and toddlers. The Bilingual Kaleidoscope Play & Learn group at the Newport Way Library is a weekly circle of caregivers and kids in English and Mandarin.

More ideas for wet days: rainy day activities, indoor pools and swim lessons, toddler outings, and kid-friendly restaurants and breweries.
