Midwinter break 2027 is Monday, February 15 through Friday, February 19 for Bellevue, Issaquah, and Northshore. Lake Washington is off earlier, Thursday, February 11 through Monday, February 15.

Midwinter break 2027 is the week of Presidents Day. Bellevue, Issaquah, and Northshore are off Monday, February 15 through Friday, February 19. Lake Washington takes a shorter break a few days earlier: Thursday, February 11, Friday, February 12, and Presidents Day, Monday, February 15, with school back on Tuesday, February 16. The camps below have posted dates for that week, and the indoor guides cover the days you fill yourself.

Midwinter break 2027 dates by district

These come from each district’s own 2026-27 calendar.

Lake Washington (LWSD): no school Thursday, February 11 and Friday, February 12 (mid-winter break) and Monday, February 15 (Presidents Day). LWSD 2026-27 calendar.
Bellevue: no school Monday, February 15 through Friday, February 19. Bellevue School District important dates.
Issaquah: no school Monday, February 15 (Presidents Day) and Tuesday, February 16 through Friday, February 19. Issaquah School District 2026-27 calendar.

Indoor ideas for the week

February on the Eastside is usually wet. Rainy-day indoor play is the short list of museums, libraries, and play spaces, and Indoor play has every indoor playground, drop-in gym, and toddler open play by town. Indoor pools and swim lessons and ice and roller skating fill an afternoon. If the pass has snow, snow play near the Eastside covers tubing and sledding.
