Halloween with kids on the Eastside
Community candy walks and trunk-or-treats already on the 2026 calendars, plus quieter stops for little kids. The full set is on the Fall hub.
The dates below are the 2026 listings. A downtown walk or a library craft usually comes back the next October, but the day and the hours change. Read the organizer’s page the week you go. Every Halloween and trunk-or-treat row in the city files is also on the Fall hub.
Trunk-or-treats and community walks
The cards at the bottom are the free walks and trunk-or-treats that already have a photo of the place. A few more are posted and worth planning around.
Little Monsters on Main Street is Saturday, October 31, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., on Main Street in Old Bellevue. The Old Bellevue Merchants Association says businesses, restaurants, and residential communities along Main Street hand out candy. It is free. The photo is Main Street in daylight.
Pumpkins on the Plaza is Thursday, October 29, 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., on the upper plaza at Sammamish Commons. The city lists a scavenger hunt, an animal encounter, and trick-or-treat at city booths and trunks, with allergy-friendly candy at every other stop. The library hosts a craft inside. It is free. The photo is City Hall and the plaza at night, not the party.
Trunk-or-Treat at City Hall is Friday, October 30, at Redmond City Hall, 15670 NE 85th Street. The city’s fall newsletter lists trick-or-treating, games, and community fun, and it does not print a start time. Check the 2026 schedule. It is free. The photo is City Hall in daylight.
Trick-or-Treat on Main Street is Friday, October 30, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Main Street and 101st Ave NE in downtown Bothell. The city moved it to that Friday because of I-405 work and feedback from Main Street businesses. It is free. The photo is Main Street in daylight.
Trick-or-Treat Street is Saturday, October 24, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., on the downtown blocks in North Bend. The North Bend Downtown Foundation says the time can change, so check the page before you go. It is free. The same afternoon, Great Si View Spooktacular at Si View Community Center, 400 SE Orchard Drive, runs 12:00 to 1:15 p.m. and 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. Si View calls the haunted house PG and aims it at preschool and elementary children with their families. Pick one session. Resident tickets are $18 and nonresident tickets are $21.60. Children under 2 are free and still need a registration. The downtown walk starts when the second session ends. The photo on the North Bend card is downtown with Mount Si, not the community center.
Town Center Trick or Treat is Friday, October 30, 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., a free stroll through Town Center. Businesses with the two little ghost posters in the window are the ones handing out treats. The city says the business list keeps growing up to the day, so check the page again that week.
Olde Fashioned Halloween Party is Saturday, October 24, 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. The Renton Downtown Partnership starts with trick-or-treating at downtown businesses, then moves the party to Legacy Square for makeup, photos, games, and prizes. At 3:00 p.m. the crowd learns the Thriller dance. The page does not list a ticket price.
Spooktacular Halloween is Saturday, October 24, 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. The city lists three stops. Begin on Snoqualmie Ridge at 35018 SE Ridge Street, walk to the trunk-or-treat in the Snoqualmie Valley YMCA parking lot (that stop runs until 3:00 p.m.), and continue into historic downtown. It is free.
Trick or Tree is Thursday, October 29, 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., at Woodinville City Hall, 17301 133rd Ave NE. The city lists a treat bag, crafts, games, face painting, creepy crawlies, and a free tree to take home. It is free.
Three YMCA fall festivals share one page, and each asks adults not to wear masks and asks for family-friendly costumes. Bellevue Family YMCA Fall Festival is Saturday, October 24, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at 14230 Bel-Red Road, with trunk-or-treat, a robotics station, and a pumpkin pool. Our calendar lists that one as indoors. Northshore Y Fall Family Festival is the same Saturday, 5:30 to 8:00 p.m., at 11811 NE 195th Street in Bothell, with carnival games, trunk-or-treat from decorated cars, and a bounce house. Sammamish YMCA Fall Family Festival is 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at 831 228th Ave SE, with a haunted walk, a bounce house, and carnival games. All three are free.
Village Halloween Celebration is Saturday, October 24, 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., at The Village at Totem Lake, 11901 NE Village Plaza. Characters, a stage performance, and a craft. It is not a trick-or-treat, and it goes on rain or shine. Parking in the Green Garage is free.
Trick or Treat at Marymoor Village is Saturday, October 24, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., indoors at Redmond Community Center at Marymoor Village, 6505 176th Ave NE. Room-to-room trick-or-treating and crafts. Free, all ages, and children under 12 come with an adult. Register ahead. The same building has a separate Haunted House from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. that night. Ages 12 and older are recommended. Expect dim light, strobes, loud noise, fog, and stairs. Tickets are $5 to $6 at the door.
Halloween Train boards at the Snoqualmie Depot and the North Bend Depot on the weekends of October 10 and 11, 17 and 18, 24 and 25, and October 31 through November 1. Costumes are welcome. Ages 2 and up need a ticket. North Bend departures start at 10:30 a.m. Snoqualmie departures start at 11:00 a.m. The trip is just under two hours, with a stop for cider, apple pressing, crafts, and music. Tickets are $16 to $32. The photo we use elsewhere for the depot is the Snoqualmie Depot in daylight, not the Halloween ride.
A few more community listings, each on the organizer’s page. Treats and Tails is Saturday, October 17, 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., at Blakely Hall in Issaquah Highlands, for ages 3 to 10 with an adult. Costumes are encouraged. General admission is $16.75 for adults and children. Members are free. It is indoors, so it is the morning half of Halloween if you also want Main Street at 1:00 p.m.
Trick or Treat with the Farm Animals is Saturday, October 24, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., at Kelsey Creek Farm, 410 130th Pl SE. Costumed animals, a bag to decorate, farm crafts, and pumpkin bowling. A daylight walk with no jump scares, and trick-or-treating while the candy lasts. Admission is $7. Ages 3 and under are free. The Friday and Saturday night show is a separate ticket.
BOO at the Barn at Pickering Barn splits the day. Saturday, October 24, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. is carnival games and crafts. The 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. haunted hay barn and trail are not recommended for children under 6. Door admission is $15. Children 3 and younger are free.

Libraries stay the calm option. Pumpkin Painting is Tuesday, October 13, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., at Mercer Island Library. Kids and teens, and ages 7 and under need an adult. Sensory Dough: Monster Makers is Monday, October 5, 4:15 to 5:30 p.m., at Kirkland Library, for not-so-scary monsters in a relaxed room. Halloween Costume Swap is Saturday, October 10, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at Kirkland City Hall. Take home a clean costume. Donating one is welcome and not required.
Pumpkin patches
Pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and the farms worth the drive are on the Fall hub. This page does not repeat them.
Halloween decorations
Houses already posted for this season are on the Halloween decorations map. That map is displays. It is not a trick-or-treat route, and this page does not name residential streets.
Rain, timing, and a teal pumpkin
If the afternoon is wet, stay with the listings that are already indoors. Marymoor Village trick-or-treat is room to room inside the community center. Monster Mash Halloween Bash is indoors at Northwest Arts Center, and the toddler play gym is open. KidsQuest is inside the museum all day on October 31. Renton’s Truck or Treat on Friday, October 30, has a session inside the community center and a session outside with the trucks. The sensory-friendly stroll is 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., with flashing lights, noise, and music kept down. The walk-through is 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Registration is $15 for Renton residents and $18 for everyone else. The Great Pumpkin Hunt stays at Woodinville Library unless the weather is good enough to move part of it outside. Village Halloween at Totem Lake goes on rain or shine, which is not the same as indoors.
Saturday, October 24, is the crowded day: Totem Lake at noon, the farm at 1:00, Renton downtown at 1:00, Snoqualmie at 1:30, North Bend at 3:00, then the Y festivals and Marymoor in the evening. Thursday, October 29, is Sammamish Commons and Woodinville City Hall. Friday, October 30, stacks Mercer Island Town Center, Bothell Main Street, Redmond City Hall, the Bellevue arts center, and Renton Community Center. Saturday, October 31, is KidsQuest in the morning and Old Bellevue Main Street from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Redmond has not posted a start time for City Hall. North Bend says its downtown time can change.
A teal pumpkin on a porch means that house has non-food treats for kids with food allergies. Paint one, or buy one, if you are handing out candy at home. Sammamish already puts allergy-friendly candy at every other stop at Pumpkins on the Plaza. The Y festivals ask adults not to wear masks. After dark, a small light or something reflective on the costume helps drivers. Stay with the group the organizer named, and read that page the day you go.
