Best Christmas lights on the Eastside

Public displays and a few home shows already on our lights map, with the nights and the ticket notes posted by the organizers.

The lights worth planning around are the public ones with a date on the organizer’s own page. Homes stay on the Christmas lights map unless the owner has already posted this season. Dated events also land on the Christmas hub.

Snowflake Lane is the free nightly parade on Bellevue Way between NE 4th and NE 8th, between Bellevue Square and Lincoln Square. The Bellevue Collection lists November 27 through December 24, every night at 7 p.m., with falling snow, lights, music, and toy drummers. Parking in the Collection garages is free. Garden d’Lights is the ticketed walk through Bellevue Botanical Garden at 12001 Main Street. The garden lists Saturday, November 28, 2026 through Sunday, January 3, 2027, including Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. It is closed on Christmas Day. Tickets go on sale Thursday, October 15, and they are timed. Kids 10 and under are always free.

General admission nights are November 28 and 29, December 4 through 6, and December 11 through January 3, except Christmas Day. First entry is 4:30 p.m., last entry is 9:00 p.m., and the lights go out at 9:30 p.m. Ages 11 and older are $10. The first two weeks have $5 nights, Monday through Thursday, November 30 through December 3 and December 7 through 10. Those nights also start at 4:30 p.m., and the lights go out at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 8 is the sensory-friendly night, with no live music and a smaller crowd. The lot fills. The garden lists a free BellHop shuttle.

Redmond Lights runs Saturday, December 5, 2026 through Monday, January 4, 2027. The kickoff is at Downtown Park, 16101 Redmond Way, on December 5 from 4 to 8 p.m., with light art, a luminary trail, snowfall, music, a kids light fashion show, and free crafts. The city has not posted hours for the nights after the kickoff. Check the 2026 schedule. The photo is the park in daylight.

Snoqualmie Winter Lights is a free walk from Salish Lodge along the Centennial Trail into historic downtown, with lit trains and the tree at the Railroad Park gazebo. The city says the lights run nightly from Thanksgiving through New Year’s, and parking is free. The tree lighting is a save-the-date for Saturday, December 5, 2026. A time is not posted. Check the 2026 schedule. Kids can leave a wish list in the Santa letter box at the gazebo. The same page pairs the walk with Brilliant Blvd, the lit trees along Snoqualmie Parkway in Snoqualmie Ridge. The photo is Snoqualmie Falls, where the walk starts.

Two home displays are already on the map with a 2026 date from the owners. Kingsgate Kringle House at 12244 NE 140th Street in Kirkland runs December 1 through December 31, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to midnight, with music on 103.1 FM. Pull over and keep driveways clear. Miracle on 134th Street at 17334 SE 134th Street in Renton reopens the day after Thanksgiving 2026. The owners say it is free. Other homes are on the lights map only.

Evergreen Christmas Lights at 3429 240th Street SE in Bothell lists a free walk December 1 through 24, from 6 to 9 p.m. The page does not name the year. Check the 2026 schedule before you go.

A little farther out, WildLanterns at Woodland Park Zoo runs November 13, 2026 through January 17, 2027, from 4 to 9 p.m., last entry 8:30 p.m. It is closed November 16, 17, 18, 23, 26, and 30, December 7, 14, 24, and 25, and January 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, and 13. Timed tickets. The Night Owls evenings on November 20, December 18, and January 2 are 21 and older. The photo is the zoo in daylight, not the lanterns.

Zoolights at Point Defiance Zoo runs November 27, 2026 through January 3, 2027, from 4:30 to 10 p.m. It is closed December 24 and 25. Online timed tickets are required, and they go on sale October 19. Ages 2 and under are free. The animals are sleeping and the aquariums are closed. Parking is free. Holiday Magic at the Washington State Fair Event Center in Puyallup lists select dates from December 4 through December 23, 2026. Early-bird Flex tickets are $20 through October 13, and standard tickets go on sale October 14. Check the 2026 schedule for which nights are open and for that day’s price. Rides are included with admission.
